How to Make a folded paper game

Things You'll Need:
Paper


1.
Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half. It must be square or it will not fold properly. Fold it in half again so that you now have a piece of paper folded into fourths. The paper cannot be too thin or it will not hold up to the folding, but neither can it be too thick or it will be too bulky to play with.

Open the paper and turn it upside down so the folds are facing away from you. Fold on corner and place the tip right in the center of the paper, now marked by the previous folds. Carefully fold in each corner exactly to the center and smooth out the seams tightly.

Turn the folded paper over so the folds are facing downward. Bring the corners in again exactly to the center. Smooth out each crease carefully, pressing them firmly. Each of the outside corners should be square and even, not lopsided.

Fold the paper again in half, then in quarters, pressing the creases firmly. Then unfold the last four corners. Hold the paper so that the single layer folds are up and write a number on each.

Unfold the flaps again so now the paper is back to Step 3. Now write a number on each of the eight outer-corner halves. Turn the paper over and write a little action on the back of each of the eight outer halves you just numbered. They can be anything like, “smile" to "you are cute" to "give me a kiss"-whatever the occasion calls for.

Now fold the whole thing back so that you are back at Step 4 before the writing. Slide four fingers under the loose flaps and bring the corners in to the center. You should be able to press two fingers together while pulling two away and so on. The person gets to pick a number from the four flaps, press and pull the number and then open all four fingers to reveal the inner numbers. Press and pull that number and then they pick a number from the inside once again and you lift the flap to see what they won.

Step 4: Asses the amount of money you have If you are planning for enjoyment during the holidays that are in question, it is obvious that you will need to spend some money, even if it will just be a very small amount. Therefore, it is important that when you are setting out to plan for the holidays, you make sure that the funds that are available are enough to carter for all the needs that you will have.

Step 5: asses the weather conditions The weather that you will face during the holidays will determine a great deal the type of activities that you will engage in. It will also determine whether the activities will be indoor or outdoor.

Step 6: Collect ideas Get ideas on what you want to do. Best holiday plans and vacations are those that are done in a group or with someone else, unless you are setting out for sometime where you just want to be alone. For this reason, When planning for a vacation or activity for the holidays, it is important that you consult another person, especially the ones that may be involved with you in the same activities that you will be doing.

Step 7: prepare a budget Prepare a budget. As already mentioned, it is most like true that you will have to spend some money if you want to enjoy your vacations. Therefore, you need to prepare a budget so as to be able to spend you money wisely. Make sure that the activities are clearly set out and that they fit into the budget; spare some money for emergency.

Step 8: Remember flexibility and firmness It is always important that when you set out to prepare for the holiday, you are ready to be flexible. This will help you enjoy the event even much better.

Tips * Always remember to get some activities that will require you to help the needy and the unfortunate.

* During the holiday season, pamper yourself. Give yourself the treats that you always enjoy but you rarely give yourself.

Warning * To ensure that you enjoy as much as you would like to, fit some money for emergency into the budget.

A Kids Life

Rain coming down sometimes making floods,
Sometimes turning dirt into mud,
Watering plants making grass grow,
Then suddenly turning into snow,
The white blanket comes down on the ground,
Covering houses and cars without a sound,
Children sledding down in the snow,
They want to throw snowballs at cars but parents say “no”.

Then turning into sunshine kids run out to play,
Its summer - hurray!
Football games at the park,
Until it starts to get dark,
Then everyone runs out of sight,
Having sleepovers and stay up till 12 at night,
They wake up in morning to some toast,
Everyone tries to eat the most,
They all get sick,
Two of the kids run to each find a stick,
They have a sword fight,
Then the rest of the day,
They run and play,
Until “time to come in” their parents say.

They wake up to a fright,
There's leaves coming down all around,
They must have come at night,
They go outside then they hear their mom,
“Come on its time for a hayride!”
Then Halloween comes, everyone dresses up,
After they see all the candy,
They smile with glee,
The parents say “brush your teeth don't get a cavity”,
You answer back “but I already have three”.

You wake up in the middle of the night,
You've had a quite a scare,
A horrible nightmare,
But you realize it's just a dream,
But then you seem to think of whip cream,
You wake up and the whip cream from your dream,
Has turned into snow.


Stars are falling, beaming down.
On the ground, is where I'm found.
On a summer’s night, some stars may fall,
But I am here to catch them all.
Looking at the stars above, I can see some stars of love.
Some are good,
Some are kind.
Some are yours,
And some are mine.
Oh! Stars above please shine your light,
So that I may find my way, tonight.
